FULLERTON, Calif.---Cal State Fullerton swept CSUN in a Big West softball doubleheader Saturday afternoon.

GAME 1
- Cal State Fullerton defeated CSUN 7-3 in the opener.
- CSUN stranded a pair of runners on in the top of the first. The Titans responded by taking the lead in the bottom of the inning when Desha Hill singled in Irieanna Siofele.
- The Titans added to the lead with two runs in the bottom of the third. Â The first of the two runs scored on a Matador error, the second was driven in by Hill with a double.
- Kiarra Crockett-Pope cut the Cal State Fullerton lead to one in the top of the fourth when she hit a two-run home run. It was Crockett-Pope's sixth home run of the year.
- Siofele's two-out RBI single plated Alexa Neil to push the Titans' lead to 4-2.
- Journey Rojas led off the CSUN fifth with a single. Pinch hitter Jaymi Steward walked. Haileigh Gonzalez successfully sacrifices both runners up a base to bring up Megan Stevens. Stevens, the Big West leader in batting, was intentionally walked by Taylor Dockins to load the bases.
- Jessica Alexander's grounder to back to Dockins was thrown home to force Rojas out. Mackenzie Babbitt walked to bring Steward home. Crockett-Pope was struck out by Fullerton reliever Dani Martinez.
- The Titans scored two more in the bottom of the fifth as Lauren Amezcua and Neil charted runs batted in. Sam Kennedy's sac bunt in the bottom of the sixth turned out to be the final run of the game.
- Rojas posted two of the six CSUN hits. Hill and Siofele both went 3-for-4 for the Titans.
GAME 2
- Cal State Fullerton defeated CSUN 9-1 in the nightcap.
- Hill put the Titans on top in the bottom of the first with a three-run home run.
- Siofele and Ari Williams drove in runs in the second to push the lead to 5-0. Zoe Richard hit a two-out solo home run in the bottom of the third.
- Stevens got the Matadors on the board with her 10th home run of the season. It was her 22nd career home run, putting her 10th in school history in the category.
- Siofele's two-out home run in the bottom of the fourth pushed the Titans out to a 7-1 lead.
- The final two runs for the Titans came in the bottom of the fifth to invoke the run-rule.
- The Stevens home run was the only hit that Martinez, who started the game, allowed. She picked up the complete game with four strikeouts and a walk. Siofele, Hill, and Richard all had two hits for the Titans.

- "We didn't come to play today and it showed. We need to pick it up in practice this week and get ready to go for next weekend."
