Brown II finished with 10 points and five assists while Festus Ndumanya added eight points and five rebounds. For the Beach, Carter III scored a team-high 19 points.
ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH MARK GOTTFRIED
"I thought our guys played really well. Defensively, for the most part, throughout the game, we were pretty solid. We defended their dribble penetration pretty well and handled their ball screens pretty well. Offensively, we shared the ball, we passed the ball - we had a couple forced shots here and there but overall, I love the fact we had 19 assists. A good team win, unselfish play offensively, I liked that, and defensively not bad. Good things to build on."
UP NEXT
CSUN hits the road for the first time in Big West play when it takes on Cal Poly on Saturday at 7 p.m. Ghizal Hasan and Alan Zinsmeister have the call in an audio broadcast on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health.
