NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN women's basketball team returns to the Matadome Thursday night when CSUN hosts UC Riverside. David Gascon's pregame show on BigWest.tv begins at 6:50 p.m. with the tip set for 7 p.m.

UC Riverside is 6-15, 2-5 in Big West play. UCR has lost four in a row dating back to Jan. 18 when the Highlanders defeated UC Santa Barbara 66-61.

Jannon Otto is third in the Big West in scoring at a 15.6 point per game clip. She is also third in the league in shooting (42.4). Her 86.9% from the free throw line is tops in the Big West and is the 20th best in Division I this week. Otto is fifth in the Big West in rebounding (7.6) while her 53 free throws are the seventh best in the conference.

This is the 65th meeting between CSUN and UC Riverside with the Matadors leading the all-time series 33-31. The teams split the season series last season with each team winning on its home court.

The Matadors (9-12, 4-3 Big West) are looking to break two-game losing streak after falling to UC Davis (61-39) and Cal Poly (52-41) last week.

De'Jionae Calloway is second in the Big West In rebounding (8.9), third in steals (2.0), seventh in scoring (14.4) and 10th in field goal shooting (.444). Hayley Tanabe is seventh in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9) and 10th in assists (3.1). As a team, CSUN is second in the conference in steals (10.4). In addition to Calloway being in the top 10 in the Big West in steals, Meghan Henderson is second in the category (2.0) while Deja Williams (1.9) is third.
