"I was really happy with how our team responded today," said CSUN head coach Justin Johnson. "I told them last week that we need to get better every time we touch the track and we were able to do that today. We had athletes post lifetime best in every event area. We still have a lot of room for improvement but we will continue to chip away at it."
This was the first home track meet for CSUN since 2018. Joining CSUN at the Matador Track Complex were CSU Bakersfield, UC Davis, and UC Irvine. The Matadors travel to the Triton Invitational next Saturday. Action gets underway at 1 p.m. with the first field event. The first running event is set for 2:05 p.m.
