CSUN Tennis Earns ITA Scholar-Athlete Awards

Complete ITA Scholar-Athlete Lists

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN women's tennis team earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors Monday the organization announced.

The Matador program was awarded ITA All-Academic Team honors as the program posted a 3.74 grade point average (the highest in the entire CSUN athletic department).

Matadors earning ITA Scholar-Athlete honors were Jolene Coetzee, Jenna Dorian, Ana Isabel Fraile Toboso, Magdalena Hedrzak, Victoria Santibañez Luna, Ekaterina Repina, Jacquie Tan, and Sasha Turchak. To be selected ITA Scholar-Athlete, a player must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year.

2021 marks the third consecutive season in which Coetzee and Fraile Toboso were both named ITA Scholar-Athlete. Repina, Santibañez Luna, and Tan each earned the ITA Scholar-Athlete award for the second consecutive season.
