Cal Poly Scores Twice in Final 10 Minutes to Defeat CSUN

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.—Cal Poly scored twice in the final 10 minutes as the Mustangs defeated CSUN 2-0 in Big West men's soccer action Wednesday night at Mustang Memorial Field, presented by Dignity Health.
ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH TERRY DAVILA
Cal Poly (3-5-2, 1-1-1 Big West) outshot CSUN 12-8, 4-1 on goal. The Mustangs took five corner kicks and did not allow a Matadors corner. Cooper Wenzel made the only two saves of the match for either goalie.

Playing on the same field as the Cal Poly football team, Conner Lisenbee opened the scoring in the 80th minute. Shooting from the five-yard line on the right side of the pitch went into the top left corner of the CSUN goal.
