The Matadors (6-21, 5-12 Big West) travels to CSU Bakersfield on Thursday for an 11 a.m. start to coincide with CSUB's Education Day.
CSUN returns home for Senior Day on Saturday against league leader Long Beach State. Tess Amundsen and Jordyn Jackson will be honored prior to the start of the game.
ABOUT CSUB
The Roadrunners are 6-18, 3-13 in Big West play after falling 65-52 at Hawai'i on Monday.
Hennie van Schaik is the team's leading scorer (10.8) and rebounder (6.2) despite only playing in 15 of the 24 CSUB games this season.
The Matadors defeated the 'Runners 69-60 on Feb. 9 in Northridge. CSUB leads the all-time series 7-4.
ABOUT THE BEACH
Long Beach State has opened a two-game lead in the Big West standings over UC Irvine as The Beach are 14-2. Long Beach State is 19-7 overall and hosts UC Santa Barbara Thursday night before traveling to Northridge.
At 13.5 points per game, Tori Harris is sixth in the conference in scoring for Long Beach State. Harris is shooting 85.4% from the free throw line, ranking her fifth in the conference. She is ninth in made three-pointers per game (1.4).
Malia Bambrick is ninth in the league in scoring at 12.7 points per game. Bambrick is shooting 45.4% from the field which is the second-best in the Big West.
CSUN defeated Long Beach State 57-55 Jan. 5 in Long Beach to win its fourth consecutive game in the series. The Beach leads the all-time series 43-23.
