Four Top-10 CSUN Finishes Get Bulldog Classic Underway

FRESNO, Calif.—CSUN opened competition at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic Friday with four top-10 finishes on Friday.

MEN
Joseph Alipranti finished fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 179-10.

WOMEN
Brianna Kelpis was sixth in the javelin after posting a 109-6 performance.

Elizabeth Chidester placed eighth in the javelin after recording a throw of 100-5.

Emily Hutchinson finished 10th in the hammer throw (131-11). Hutchinson increased her CSUN best by almost 14 inches in the event.

UP NEXT
The Bulldog Classic resumes Saturday, moving to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. The field events begin at 10 a.m., and the running events start at noon.
