Erin Anderson and Sami Kolin assisted Gutierrez on the goal, which came off a corner kick. Reyes would join the scoring parade in the 55th minute when she followed her own shot with a header in front of the goal. CSUN's defense held firm down the stretch, completing the shutout. "I'm so proud of this group. They've never stopped believing, and obviously we've been struggling, but today everything came together. We were solid defensively, and the attack was good, we finished our opportunities. I would have liked to have possessed the ball a little bit more if I were to be very critical of them, but tonight, I don't think it's a night to be critical. We need to celebrate this win, celebrate this moment, and just continue to build."
