HEAD COACH AQUILES MONTOYA SAID
"Great win for our team. We wanted to minimize some of the runs that our opponents had and after Fullerton came back and made the first set interesting I liked how our team responded. Our middles had solid matches and we're trying to disperse the ball. This was hands down Julia's best match, but I'm really proud of Tatiana's serving and Katie's decision-making. We have unfinished business with UC Irvine tomorrow after a heartbreaking 15-13 loss to them at their place. I know our team is fired up for it."
UP NEXT
CSUN concludes a brief two-match homestand on Saturday, hosting UC Irvine in a Big West match at Premier America Credit Union Arena. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the match will stream on ESPN+.
