COACH ARI HOMAYUNÂ SAID
"Glad we could turn it around today and get a win after falling short to a good Concordia team. It was windy and cold and brutal to be out there and I think CUI did a better job than we did at handling the conditions. We just made one too many errors across the board. But again, stoked that the girls could bounce back and get the win against Cal State LA. Looking forward to more high level volleyball this weekend in Long Beach."
UP NEXT
The Matadors travel to Long Beach this Friday and Saturday for four matches, two against nationally-ranked teams. The Matadors will meet Nebraska and Texas on Friday before taking on No. 11 Arizona State and No. 7 Long Beach State on Saturday.
