COACH ARI HOMAYUNÂ SAID
"A 3-2 win after starting the dual down 0-2 can always be a little tricky, so I'm proud of the girls for stepping up to the challenge and showing up for their teammates. Glad we were also able to pull out the 5-0 win against Morehead State. We candidly did not play great volleyball today, our touch on the ball wasn't great, and we made a ton of errors but fortunately, even ugly wins are wins and I'll take it. We need to sharpen up and be ready to rise to the occasion against the four schools we are hosting this Tuesday and Wednesday."
UP NEXT
The Matadors return home next Tuesday and Wednesday (Mar. 18-19) for a pair of tri-duals at the CSUN Beach Volleyball Complex. The Matadors take on FIU and Colorado Mesa on Tuesday, before hosting The Master's University and Nebraska on Wednesday.
