NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---Twenty-three members of the CSUN Track & Field team were recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom on Thursday, as each were placed on the 2025 MPSF All-Academic Team for the indoor season.
The CSUN men's track & field team set a program record with 14 earning all-academic honors while the women's team had nine honorees, the most for the program since 2016.
To qualify for the MPSF All-Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 or greater cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, complete one full academic year at the institution prior to this season and compete in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition for the season.
Earning all-academic honors on the men's team were Santiago Cerda, Tzu-Ting Chan, Tylor Connelly, James Crawford, Luke DaVanon, Tui Edwin, Elijah Ignacio, Francisco Isiordia, Trey Knight, Guillermo Lopez, Gabe Martinez, Joey Nations, Camilo Torres and Wyatt Wiggins, Jr. The group of Chan, Crawford, Ignacio, Nations, Torres and Wiggins all earned their second MPSF academic award for their careers.
On the women's team, collecting all-academic team accolades were Amani Britton, Treasure Brown, Sakura Divecchio, Jocelyn Hoggard, Brianna Kelpis, Marina McNeil-Vivanco, Alba Moreno Paredes, Kaliyah Poston and Audrie Reuss. Poston received her third MPSF All-Academic honor of her career while both Kelpis and Reuss earned their second award.
