The Matadors held a 5-4 lead in opener after five innings behind a two-home run game from Roberto Gonzalez, but the Titans scored 12 unanswered runs to close for a 16-5 win. Despite a career-high 10 strikeouts from Diego Gutierrez in game two, Fullerton broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh and scored the game's final six runs to pick up a 9-3 win. The Matadors would produce 13 hits in the series finale and homer three times, but the Titans held off a late charge for a 10-8 triumph to complete the sweep.
