NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Men's Soccer (1-0-1) opens a two-match homestand on Saturday evening against visiting Biola. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
Â
ABOUT LAST WEEK
CSUN went undefeated in its two-match road trip in Oklahoma. The first game was against Tulsa as the Matadors had a hard-fought battle that ended up in a 0-0 tie Thursday night. On Sunday, CSUN took home its first win of the year, a road win against Oral Roberts, 1-0, at Case Soccer Complex. A late goal by Zack Harris with just eight minutes left to play propelled the Matadors to their first win of the new season.
The results of the games in Oklahoma were the first time since Sep. 24-28 of 2022 that CSUN has had back-to-back shutouts. CSUN's win over Oral Roberts came in the first matchup ever between the two programs.

DRUCKS EARNS BIG WEST HONORS
Junior goalkeeper Dorian Drucks received Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, the league office announced. Against the Hurricanes Thursday night, he had a career-high seven saves in the match. The 6'3 junior from Essen, Germany prevented four shots on goal from going in during the first half of the Tulsa match, saving close call after close call. During Sunday's matchup against Oral Roberts, Drucks saved three shots from finding the back of the net, including two off the foot of star player from the Golden Eagles, Leonardo Almeida Seixas.
Â
HARRIS SCORES FIRST GOAL OF THE NEW SEASON
Zack Harris scored CSUN's first goal of the 2025 season when he attempted a free kick just outside the box during CSUN's 1-0 win against Oral Roberts Sunday night with just eight minutes left to play. After going scoreless in their first opening matchup on Thursday against Tulsa, it was looking like the Matadors were going to play themselves another 0-0 game before Harris had other plans. A late foul lined up Harris's free kick, and he put one in the lower right corner of the net as he got mobbed by teammates shortly afterwards.
