Zoe Crouch Joins CSUN Water Polo Coaching Staff

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN head women's water polo coach Matt Warshaw has announced the hiring of Zoe Crouch as an assistant coach with the Matadors for the 2026-27 season.Â
"We're excited to welcome Zoe to the program," said Warshaw. "She brings great energy, purpose, and a passion for helping student-athletes grow. Her experience competing as an athlete and later coaching in the MPSF, combined with her ability to relate to our student-athletes, will be a tremendous benefit to our team."
Crouch comes to CSUN from Indiana University where she spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the nationally-ranked Hoosiers. Indiana went 16-11 this past season, peaking as high as No. 7 in the national top-25 polls. Overall, the Hoosiers went 33-23 in her two years on the bench.Â
A Moraga native, Crouch also has coaching experience with the Lamorinda Waterpolo Club in Lafayette, Calif. Since 2020, she has instructed youth ranging from 12-14 during the summer months.Â
A three-time ACWPC All-American, Crouch played collegiately with Indiana from 2020-24. She totaled the ninth-most goals scored in program history with 183 in her water polo career to go with 156 assists, 96 steals and 34 blocks over 137 total matches. Crouch earned Third-Team All-American honors in her senior season in helping Indiana to a 21-win campaign. She also scored a career-high 53 goals and dished out 35 assists as she was named to the MPSF All-Second Team that season.Â
"I'm thrilled to join the CSUN water polo program and begin this next chapter of my coaching career," said Crouch. "I'm excited to learn from coach Warshaw, invest in our student-athletes, and help build something this university can be proud of."

Crouch graduated from Indiana with two degrees - a bachelor's degree in Sport Marketing and Management in May 2024 and a master's degree in Kinesology in May 2025.Â
