Tanner Fowler recently completed his second year with the CSUN Sports Medicine Staff in 2018-19. This past year, Fowler worked primarily with the Matador Baseball, Women's Golf, and Women's Volleyball teams as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. His responsibilities include injury prevention, rehabilitation and carrying out upper extremity maintenance programs.
Before joining CSUN Athletics, Fowler served as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the the University of Nebraska Baseball team. He received a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration from Nebraska in 2017.Â
A native of Bertrand, Neb., Fowler previously worked at Complete Physical Therapy in Lincoln, Neb. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, also from Nebraska in 2014.
Fowler has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association since 2012 and has been a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer since May of 2014. In his free time he enjoys golfing, hiking, going to concerts and sporting events.
