Clayton made 31 appearances and made 12 starts in center field on the season ... totaled 10 hits, eight runs scored, four RBI, three doubles, two stolen bases, one homer and a .179 batting average ... posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 36 chances ... belted a two-run homer at Santa Clara (2/15/25) ... tripled and scored a run vs. Cal State Fullerton (4/5/25) ... went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI at Arizona State (4/8/25).Â

Clayton spent two seasons at Los Angeles Valley College, playing in center field for coach Dave Mallas ... collected ABCA All-Region honors as well All-Western State Conference First Team accolades and a Gold Glove for his work in center field in 2024 ... named LAVC Athlete of the Year in 2023-24 ... helped LAVC to Western State Conference title in 2024 ... slashed .355/.439/.657 with 59 hits, 52 runs scored, 40 RBI, 31 stolen bases and eight homers as a sophomore with LAVC... hit .280 with 46 hits, 43 runs scored 26 RBI, 22 stolen bases and three homers as a freshman in college ... prepped at Oaks Christian School and graduated in 2022 ... spent four years on his high school baseball team, playing at shortstop and center field for his father and coach Royce Clayton, Sr. ... won a CIF title in 2022 with Oaks Christian ... also played club soccer throughout his high school career.
