Santivanez made nine appearances and started once as a true freshman ... went 1-1 with 18 strikeouts over 12 innings and a 9.75 ERA on the year ... did not allow a run over his final 7.1 innings of work ... appeared in four Big West games in relief, posting a 6.00 ERA and nine strikeouts ... struck out three batters in his first career start at LMU (3/11/25) ... tossed a shutout frame vs. USC (4/29/25) ... worked two shutout innings in relief in earning a win at San Diego State (5/6/25) ... struck out a season-high five batters over 3.1 shutout innings vs. Cal Poly (5/9/25).

Santivanez prepped at El Modena High School and graduated in 2024 ... played at third base and pitched for coach Josh Kliner ... collected a host of awards as a senior including Orange County Player of the Year, All-State, El Modena Male Athlete of the Year, Team MVP, All-Crestview League First Team, Crestview League MVP, All-CIF Southern Section First Team and All-Orange County First Team... helped El Modena to a Crestview League title in 2024 as well as two North Hills League titles and a 2022 CIF semifinal appearance ... posted a 7-1 record with 58 strikeouts and a 0.70 ERA in 50 innings while he batted .352 with 19 RBI, 17 runs and 30 hits as a senior ... played summer baseball for the Colton Nighthawks.
