Casey made seven appearances with two starts on the mound in his freshman season ... posted a 5.54 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 13.0 innings of work ... tossed three innings out of the bullpen, allowing a run with three strikeouts at San Diego (3/12/24) ... made his first career start and hurled three shutout frames to go with three strikeouts at California Baptist (3/25/24) ... recorded a pair of outs in his final appearance vs. San Diego State (4/30/24).
Canyon del Oro High School
Casey spent four seasons on the baseball team playing for coaches Michael Wolfard and Jason Hisey ... named 4A all-state MVP, all-city MVP and all-league MVP as a senior ... helped his team win back-to-back 4A state titles as a junior and senior ... posted 11 wins, 100 strikeouts and a 1.43 ERA on the mound while hitting .324 with 34 runs, 34 RBI and six homers in his final season.
