Furtado prepped at Kapa'a High School and graduated in 2024 ... spent two years on the softball team as well as her sophomore season on the soccer team ... played at second base and in the outfield ... named KIF Player of the Year as well as Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament Team in 2024 ... won the D2 State Championship in 2022 and 2024 ... played for the LK Black and Firecrackers travel teams.

Parents are Micah and Darci Furtado ... she has two younger sisters: Rylie and Reece ... her father played professional baseball in the Texas Rangers organization ... favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Justin Turner, Ian Somerhalder, Blake Lively, Gossip Girl, The Notebook, The Green, Morgan Wallen, squid luau ... chose CSUN because she liked the size of the campus, coach Morgan's coaching style and that the school as her intended major ... lists hitting a grand slam at the state tournament as her favorite sports moment ... says her mom is her hero.
