Gabriel Duarte is in his first year as a team manager to the CSUN Baseball team in 2021-22.
Originally from La Mirada, Calif., Duarte attended St. Paul High School where he was a left-handed pitcher on the school's baseball team.
Duarte is currently a freshman at CSUN and majoring in broadcast journalism. He hopes to become a sports broadcaster in the future.
