2021-22: Did not compete due to injury.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Suffered a pair of knee injuries that forced her to miss both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons at Duke University...appeared in 63 games (two starts) in two campaigns for the Blue Devils…prior to her injuries, scored 153 points, grabbed 66 rebounds, and had 52 assists for Duke…an ACC Honor Roll selection in 2017-18 and 2019-20…received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a certificate in markets and management from Duke.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Mater Dei High School…coach was Kevin Kiernan…a top-100 recruit in three polls…ranked No. 36 by Prospects Nation, No. 41 by All Star Girls Report), and No. 88 by the Blue Star Report… named first-team All-County and second-team All-CIF as a senior, leading Mater Dei to the CIF Championship game…averaged 12.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a senior…averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game as a junior on the way to being named second-team All-County and first-team All-League…chosen second-team All-League as a sophomore…played for the United States U16 National Team in 2015, helping the squad to a 4-1 record and a Bronze Medal in Puebla, Mexico.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jerrald and Tausha Adams…is pursuing a Master of Science in Recreational Sport Management…sister Jordan played women’s basketball at Southern California from 2014-18…favorites include Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DeCaprio, Jim Carrey, Viola Davis, Rick & Morty, Grease, Mexican Food, One Direction, and Justin Bieber…chose CSUN because she wanted to come home and be at a great school…says greatest sports moment so far is reaching the Sweet 16 as a member of the team at Duke...says the best thing about being an athlete is competing, the energy from the fans, and making memories with her teammates…the person in history she would like to have met is Harriett Tubman…if she could change places for one day with someone, it would be Rihanna…if she could have dinner with two people, it would be Lauryn Hill and Cardi B…her advice to young people is be present and have fun, life is too short to worry and be negative, enjoy the moment, vibe, and spread good energy…the best advice she has been given is people can hate for no reason, I can love for no reason…says her greatest hero is her mom who she says is so positive, loving and energetic.
