2018 (FRESHMAN): Competed in five of the six CSUN events...ran a season best 8k time of 25:51.90 during the Oct. 13 Highlander Invitational (60th)...finished a season best 56th at the Big West Championships when he ran 26:54.90...his 26:10.60 during the Sept. 29 Capital Cross Challenge placed him 114th over the 8k course...ran 26:03.10 at the UC Invitational Sept. 15 (97th)...opened the year with a 68th-place showing at the Mark Covert Classic Sept. 1 (26:17.10).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Silverado High School...coach was Michael Smith...lettered all four years in both cross country and track...was a team captain for both the cross country...graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Mitchell and Silvia Oatman...a Kinesiology major...has one brother, Ethan and one sister, Alexis.
