Contreras competed in all five meets on the season ... opened up the season with a 6k time of 19:24.4 to finish with 44th-place points and 62nd overall at the Big West Preview (9/1/23) ... registered a season-best 8k time of 24:43.8 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational (10/14/23) ... charted a time of 25:56.7 at the Big West Championships to finish at 52nd-place points and 55th overall ... posted a personal best 10k time of 32:49.3 at the NCAA West Regional, finishing 164th overall.

Entered all four races for CSUN … placed 34th in the season-opening USD Invitational, running 28:52 over the 8k course … was 129th at The Master’s Invitational Sept. 28, posting a time of 27:48.3 on the 4.97m course … recorded season best 8k time at the Highlander Invitational Oct. 19, running 26:52.6 to come in 126th … finished 54th in a time of 28:35.30 at the Big West Championship.
