Nick Fowlkes competed in all 12 tournaments and 33 rounds in his first season at CSUN ... ranked fourth on the team with a scoring average of 73.33 after taking 2,420 strokes over 33 rounds ... earned All-Big West honorable mention honors from the conference coaches ... finished the season with a pair of top-10 finishes along with three top-20 showings ...fired CSUN's low round of the season with a seven-under 64 in the final round of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational (Oct. 21-23) ... finished with low 54-hole score of 12-under 201 at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate (Oct 29-31) which was the Matadors' second-lowest round of the season ... also finished tied for 10th at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 10-12) with a five-over 221 total ... tied for 24th at the Big West Championship at seven-over 223 following rounds of 75-75-73.Â

Fowlkes was a four-year letterwinner in golf at West Ranch High School in Valencia, Calif. ... under head coach Jeff Holder, the Wildcats claimed the league championship all four seasons, finishing undefeated in league play this past season ... graduated in 2021.

Fowlkes is the son of former CSUN men's golf standout Ryan Fowlkes ... Ryan played for coach Jim Bracken and the Matadors from during the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons ... Nick's uncle, Nick Pikor also played golf for CSUN in 1997-98 and 1998-99.
