PERSONAL: Son of Elmer and Jenny Martinez…a Kinesiology-Applied Fitness major...sisters Jenny and Sandy are both CSUN graduates…favorites include FC Barcelona, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Dallas Cowboys, Lionel Messi, Will Smith, Scarlett Johansson, Friends, Captain America: The Winter Solider, Pasta, Metallica, and 2 Pac…chose CSUN because he loves the campus, gets to stay home with his family, he really likes the sports history of the school…says his greatest sports moment so far is making a play to help his team win a game and be bumped into first in their league…says the best thing about being an athlete is being active and playing the sport he loves…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is being consistent with recovery and taking care of his body…says the best athlete he has played against is his former high school teammate Adam Saldaña…the most famous person he has met is Kevin Hart…the person in history he would like to meet is the late 2 Pac…would like to switch places for one day with Lionel Messi…the two people he would like to have dinner with are the 2 Pac and Ice Cube…says his greatest hero is his father because he has worked so hard to get where he is right now and to give him a great life., says everything he does now is for him because he wouldn’t have the opportunities without him.
