2011 Second Team All-Big West Conference
2011 (SOPHOMORE): Named second team All-Conference...appeared in all 19 matches and was the team leader in points with 14...scored five goals and added four assists as a sophomore and took 47 shots, 17 of which were on goal...had two game winning goals this year at UC Davis and Cal Poly as the Matadors completed a Northern California sweep.
2010 (FRESHMAN): Competed in all but one game in his freshman campaign and took 19 shots, 10 of which were on goal.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Pinnacle High School...captained and started every game for head coach Brock Heykoop's team that went 25-1 and won the Arizona State Championship in 2009-10...scored 25 goals and tallied 22 assists in the campaign...was named first team All-State and first team All-Region, in addition to being named the team MVP and first team All-State Player of the Year...graduated with a 3.4 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Sylvia and Mark Ramos...has one brother, Chris...lists among his favorites Arsenal and athlete Gonzalo Higuain, as well as the movie "Friday"...his greatest sports moment came when he scored the winning goal in a game while playing in Brazil...his pregame ritual includes the need to tie his left shoe first...enjoys playing "Call of Duty"...the best athlete he has played against is Danny Cruz and the most famous person he has met is hip-hop artist Akon...would most like to meet Alexander Hamilton...his advice to young people is, "Pray hard, play hard."
