2012 (R-JUNIOR): Competed in 21 of 22 matches for the Matadors and was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-West Region Team...as a full back, Barak recorded five assists and five points...helped Northridge record a total of 10 shutouts on the season and captained a defensive unit that ranked 30th in the nation with a 0.85 goals against average going into the NCAA Tournament.
2011 (R-SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 19 matches for the Matadors at left back and recorded one assist and one point..took five shots, one on goal this season...named Academic All-Conference.
2010 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2009 (FRESHMAN): Participated in 15 games and took four total shots, one on goal...earned his first game winning assist vs. Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 4).PERSONAL: Son of Yochi and Shimo Barak...has two siblings Dor and Ben...father was a weightlifter for the famed Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv...was a member of Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Maccabi Herzliya, and Beitar Ramat-Gan soccer clubs...is an Israeli champion on his U-17 team, Israeli Cup Holder for his U-19 team, and Israeli Cup Holder runner-up on his U-17 squad...favorite professional team is Maccabi Tel Aviv...avorite athlete is David Beckham....enjoys watching "Family Guy" and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" ...chose to attend CSUN because he felt that the people were really nice and liked the campus...greatest sports moment is winning the U-19 cup in Israel...best athlete that he has competed against is Ben Sahar, Chelsea's striker...likes to sleep when he has time to relax....favorite website is sports.co.il...most famous person met in person is Bar Rafaeli...best advice ever given to his is that "anything is possible if you decide to make it possible"....would choose Adam Sandler to play the role of himself if a movie were made about his life... cannot imagine going a week without soccer...considers his military service as the biggest obstacle he has ever had to overcome...his brothers and parents always make him smile...considers David Beckham as his greatest sports hero.
