OUTDOOR: Verges competed in seven outdoor meets ... placed 18th in the 800m with a time of 1:56.83 at the Big West Championships (5/15/26) ... posted a PR in the 800m of 1:52.63 to finish 27th at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/18/26) ... set a PR in the 1500m of 3:54.65 to take second place at the Ben Brown Invitational (3/13/26).Â
INDOOR: Competed in two indoor meets ... scored and ran a season-best in the 800m of 1:54.69 to place eighth at the MPSF Championships (3/1/26) ... helped the distance medley relay team finish fourth with a time of 10:06.74 at the MPSF Championships.Â
PRIOR TO CSUN
Verges spent his freshman year at Washington State but did not compete in any meets for the team... attended South Eugene High School and graduated in 2024 ... spent four years on the cross country and track & field high school teams along with a year on the swim team ... earned all-state honors in track & field and all-conference accolades in cross country in 2023-24 ... awarded the Most Improved Award in track & field as a senior ... received the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Award.Â

Son of Oscar and Marjan ... he has three brothers: Emile, Ferran and Ricard (twin) ... his brother Ferran competes for Washington State's cross country and track & field teams ... favorites include Tinman Elite, Sam Persons, Adam Sandler, Scarlet Johansson, Breaking Bad, Kung Fu Panda, Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars ... favorite food is teriyaki chicken and rice ... chose CSUN because of an opportunity to succeed ... listed running at a 3:56 in the 1500m, a 22-second improvement, as his favorite sports moment ... says his family are his heroes.
