HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Mercy High School...coach was Jim Henderson...played four seasons of softball...named West Bay Athletic League MVP and All San Mateo County in 2004...member of the 2001-2004 undefeated Crusaders league champions.
PERSONAL: Stepdaughter of Kristin Luce and daughter of Bill Grout...has one younger sister Ryan...lists the Giants, Tom Brady and "America's Next Top Model" as some of her favorites...lives by the saying "Do one thing a day the scares you"...one day would like to own a women's sports magazine and promote Title IX and women's athletics...writes a monthly column for Softball Magazine entitled "The Collegiate Experience"...member of the graduate student journalism program.
