2010 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 41 games, making 33 starts at catcher...batted .172 and set new career high with 11 runs scored...finished with 11 hits, three RBIs, three walks and six sac bunts...led Matadors with 14 hit-by-pitches, raising her season on-base percentage to .346...sported a .452 OBP against Big West opponents, walking once and being hit by seven pitches...ranked among Top 20 in all of NCAA Division I in hit-by-pitches per game...caught 10 would-be-base stealers during the season and sported .980 fielding percentage (122 PO, 22 A, 3 E) during the year...tied career high with two runs at Cal Poly on May 1...tied career high with two hits at UC Riverside on May 8...had her first two stolen bases of her career in 2010...selected Academic All-Conference.
2009 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 49 games, making 47 starts, all at catcher...set new career highs with .183 batting average, 10 runs scored, 17 hits, 17 total bases, four walks and six sac bunts...added five RBIs to season total...sported .985 fielding percentage, recording 167 put-outs and 25 assists in 195 chances...threw out 13 would-be-base stealers...had career high two hits against Cal Poly on Apr. 19...scored career high two runs at UC Santa Barbara on Apr. 11...tied career high with two RBIs in season opener against Liberty on Feb. 6...selected Academic All-Conference.
2008 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 23 games, making 12 starts...collected six hits and six RBIs with one run and double while hitting .150 for the season...in first collegiate game and first career at-bat with Northridge, had a pinch-hit two run single against Winthrop on Feb. 8...finished season with three sacrifice hits, one apiece coming against Texas A&M on Feb 9, Long Beach State on Apr. 5 and against Cal State Fullerton Apr. 26...collected first career double against Mississippi St. on Feb. 8.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif...coach was Doug Meyers...a four-year letter winner for the member of 2006 Sierra League champions...named second-team All-League and co-MVP of varsity squad...received Monarch award...graduated with a 3.6 GPA.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Joyce and Wendell Raphael... majoring in business...has two sisters, Lindsay and Valyncia, and one brother, Glen...played ASA softball for SoCal Vipers, California Raiders, Teamsmith and Primetime...also recruited by Rutgers and Indiana .. favorites include Derek Jeter, actress Gabrielle Union, the movie “Wedding Crashers” and recording artist Chris Brown...says the best thing about being an athlete is traveling with her second family, her team, while the worst part is the difficult schedule...best advice she has ever received is “people will always judge you, you just have to deal with it”.
