2013 Dr. Dianne Harrison Freshman Leadership Award Winner
2016 (SENIOR): Appeared in 26 games and made nine starts...had a hit, two RBIs and two stolen bases on the season...picked up RBIs in wins over Utah State and UC Davis...stole a career high two bases in a win at CSU Bakersfield...concluded career with .197 batting average, 21 runs, 27 hits, a double, seven RBIs, five sacrifice bunts and three stolen bases...selected Academic All-Conference.
2015 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 19 games and made four starts...had two hits, scored a run, drew two walks and had a sacrifice bunt...selected Academic All-Conference.
2014 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 33 games and made 16 starts... batted .300 with seven runs, a double and two RBI...drew 10 walks to post .426 on-base percentage...all seven runs, the double and the two RBI came against conference opponents...two sacrifice bunts on the year also came against league opposition...had a season high two hits in five games...received the Dr. Dianne F. Harrison Leadership award...selected Academic All-Conference.
2013 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 41 games and made 19 starts batted .209 and had nine base hits...added nine runs, three RBIs, two sac bunts and a stolen base on the year...had a season-high two hits in two games...scored a season high two runs and had a season high two RBI in a win over Seattle U...her stolen base came in a win over New Mexico State...sported a .964 fielding percentage in 28 chances.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Mountain Ridge High School...coach was Michelle Markham...a four-year starter... earned first team All-Region honors following her final two seasons.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Robert Handy...majoring in Kinesiology...has one sister, Caitlyn...favorites include the Arizona Diamondbacks, “Modern Family” and Hall and Oates...says the best advice she has ever received is “look in the mirror and tell yourself you can do it” ....lists her father as her greatest hero.
