2017 (SENIOR): Appeared in 20 games and made six starts...posted a 4-3 record with a 3.19 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 57 innings...surrendered a .269 average to opposing hitters...allowed two runs, none of which were earned over 6.0 innings vs. Loyola Marymount (Feb.19)...struck out five and gave up no earned runs over five innings to post a win vs. Seattle (Feb. 24)...gave up a run over 5.1 innings vs. Santa Clara (Mar. 5)...tossed 2.2 shutout innings to earn a win vs. Sacred Heart (Mar. 7)...hurled 3.2 shutout innings at Long Beach State (Apr. 1)...logged 5.2 innings while giving up two runs to notch a victory vs. Hawai'i (Apr. 7)...compiled 3.1 shutout innings vs. Cal Poly (Apr. 22)...selected Academic All-Conference.
2016 (JUNIOR): Pitched in 16 games and made 11 starts before injury cut her season short...finished 3-4 with a 3.73 ERA, 18 strikeouts and a .280 opponent batting average in 60 innings of work...picked up first career win with a complete game performance against Charleston Southern...recorded a two-hit shutout of San Diego, producing a career high four strikeouts...added a victory at CSU Bakersfield with two innings of relief work...selected Academic All-Conference.
2015 (SOPHOMORE): Missed the season with injury and did not appear in any games.
2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 16 games...saw action both as a pitcher and a hitter...had a base hit and scored a run in victory over Toledo...drew two walks and was hit by a pitch...pitched in one game and tossed 1.1 innings of work vs. Florida.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Burroughs High School...played fours years of softball for the Burros...earned multiple All-League honors...had a standout campaign as a senior: named All-League and league Player of the Year, All-State and All-American as she helped lead team to a league title.
PERSONAL: Daughter of DeAnne and Ernie Bell... majoring in health sciences...has two brothers, Jacob and Zach...favorites include hunting for big game, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Yasiel Puig, Kevin Hart and "Despicable Me"...advice for young people is "keep on dreaming even if it breaks your heart.”
