Arthur Chung competed in a career-high 10 tournaments playing 30 rounds for the Matadors as a junior ... finished the season with a 76.8 stroke average after taking 2,303 shots over 30 rounds ... had the first top-10 finish of his career when he fired a four under-par 212 to finish third at the CSUB Invitational (Feb. 14-15) ... had CSUN’s fourth-lowest round of the season with an opening-round 69 ... his 54-hole total of 212 was the fifth-best tournament score of any Matador golfer in 2010-11 ... next best finish was a 41st-place showing at CSUN’s Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 25-26) with a three-round (+11) 227 ... finished 42nd at the Big West Championship (May 2-3) with a three-round (+26) 242.
2009-10
Chung competed in two tournaments, playing six rounds during his sophomore season ... averaged 82.0 strokes per round after taking 492 shots ... best finish of the season was an 87th-place finish at the Braveheart Classic (Mar. 1-2) where he posted a three-round total of 251 (83-84-84) ... finished 90th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Oct. 5-6).
2008-09
Competed in two tournaments completing six rounds as a true freshman ... averaged 80.7 strokes after taking 484 shots over his six rounds ... best finish was 52nd-place at the Anteater Invitational (Mar. 30-31) where he posted a three-round 247 ... low round of the season was a 77 in the second round of the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 27-28) ... low 54-hole score was (+21) 237 at the Bill Cullum.
