Darynne Bickers played in four matches in her first season at CSUN in 2022 after transferring from Ventura College ... finished 0-3 playing with Jadin Williams in the No. 6 exhibition match ... played in the season opening tri-dual against Loyola Marymount and Cal (Feb. 25) and in the first match of a home tri-dual against Oregon (Feb. 26) ... also played in the exhibition match with Abbey Sweeting against The Master's University (Feb. 26) which ended in a 1-1 tie.
VENTURA COLLEGE
Bickers spent the 2020-21 season playing beach and indoor volleyball at Ventura College in Ventura, Calif. ... was a first team All-Western State Conference selection as an outside hitter/opposite for the Pirates' indoor team in 2021 ... played both beach and indoor for coach Brad Lyans ... earned her associate of arts degree with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF
Bickers spent the 2019-20 season at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff where she was a member of the Golden Lions' indoor team but was injured in September of the 2019 season.
VIEWPOINT SCHOOL
Bickers lettered in both beach and indoor volleyball at Viewpoint School in Calabasas, Calif. ... was a first team All-Gold Coast selection in volleyball from 2016-18 for coach Frank Pontello ... played outside hitter, opposite and middle blocker for the Patriots ... also played one season of beach volleyball for coach Sheldon Sheehy in 2019 ... graduated in 2019.

Born in Tarzana, Calif. ... parents are Denise and Darin Bickers ... has one sister, Deja who plays indoor volleyball at Missouri State ... favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant and Muhammad Ali, the TV show "The Office" and the movie "Remember the Titans" ... says she chose CSUN because "A lot of family and friends went there" ... says the best thing about being a student-athlete is "the life lessons you learn" and the toughest is "the schedule" ... major is marketing.
