Cruz appeared in every match for the first time in her career and posted new career highs in several categories in her seventh and final season ... ranked second on the team in goals (3), points (7), shots (20) and shots on goal (10) while she started 14 of 19 matches ... finished with 1,260 total minutes on the pitch ... two of her three goals came in Big West play ... netted her first goal of the season and finished with four shots vs. Portland State (9/17/23) ... hit the net and had four shots on frame vs. Long Beach State (10/8/23) ... registered a goal and an assist at UC San Diego (10/19/23) ... placed on the Big West All-Academic Team along with the CSC Academic All-District Team.

Cruz played for the Yellow Jacket's soccer and track & field teams ... earned a host of awards including all-league first team honors and all-county from 2015-16, CIF Division III First Team as a senior, Pacific View League Offensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons (2015-16), school MVP from 2015-16, 2015 CIF Division 5 Player of the Year and 2016 Ventura County All-Star ... helped lead her school to the Pacific View League title for four-straight seasons ... guided her team to the CIF Division 5 Championship as a junior.

Parents are Claudia and Ovidio Cruz ... has a brother, Justin and a sister, Stefany ... played for the El Salvador U-17 National Soccer Team ...
