2019 (FRESHMAN): Tied for the team lead in victories with Ana Fraile Toboso (17)…her 17-3 record resulted in the fifth best winning percentage in Division I school history (.850)…went 11-8 in doubles with Emma Roenholt...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Gymnasium Heidberg…graduated with a 3.9 grade point average…was ranked in the top 150 in women's and top 20 in juniors in Germany…won several regional tournaments and held wins over players ranked in the top 100 in Germany.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kemal and Sieke Demirbaga…a political science major…favorites include Roger Federer, Johnny Depp, La La Land, pasta, AC/DC, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Frank Sinatra…according to her the best thing about being an athlete is the constant progress while achieving goals and learning from failure and remembering that failures are good in the long run…her advice to young people is “to be grateful and focus on what matters for you in order to be happy”.
