- Title:
- Volunteer Assistant Coach
Raised in California, Antwain Morgan is a former track and field student athlete from the University of Redlands where he received his undergraduate degree in physics in 2015. His main area of focus with the Matadors will be in the long sprints.
Initially a long and mid distance runner he transitioned to the 400m his sophomore year. In his junior year of 2014 he was part of the first place 4x400m relay in the SCIAC championships which also qualified for the NCAA Division III championships. He took a fourth place 400m finish at SCIACs in 2015.
His initial career path was that of a scientist but by the time but by the time he graduated college track and field had become such an integral part of his life. During his time at Redlands he had a fantastic sprint coach who shaped him to be a better athlete and the best version of himself. In turn he has made the decision to coach track and field in order to give back a little of what he was given and help other students/athletes realize their full potential on and off the field.
