2023 (R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Entered two heptathlons with a best of 3,966 points (18th) coming at the Big West Heptathlon...was fourth in the javelin at UC Riverside's Chris Rinne Twilight...posted a season-best in the javelin (108-2) at the Big West Championships...placed fifth in the long jump at Fresno State's Bulldog Classic...charted a season best 14-7 3/4 in the long jump at the Chris Rinne Twilight...season best in the shot put (37-0 1/2) came during the Johnson/Joyner-Kersee Collegiate.
INDOOR: Did not compete.

PRIOR TO CSUN: Finished eighth in the heptathlon at the 2019 CCCAA Championship for Mt. SAC…helped Mt. SAC finish sixth in the 4x400m at the 2019 CCCAA meet…was fifth in the 2019 Southern California Heptathlon Championship…won the 2019 South Coast Conference title in the high jump and was third in the heptathlon…recorded a career best 4469 points in winning the heptathlon at the 2021 Moorpark Open…was second in the heptathlon at the 2020 Cerritos Open…received her AA degree in Communication Studies.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Glendora High School…charted a high school best of 32-2 in the shot put to finish second in the 2018 Palomares League Championship…posted prep bests of :28.63 in the 200m, 2:47.72 in the 800m, :18.63 in the 100m hurdles, 4-10 in the high jump, 14-4 in the long jump, 65-9 in the discus, and 8-6 in the pole vault…team won 2017 league title…graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Eileen Chidester…a Communication Studies major...favorites include the Los Angeles Kings, Georgia Ellenwood, Ryan Reynolds, Betty White, Friends, Jurassic Park, Home Made Cookies, Dan & Shay, K Camp and Pinterest.com…chose CSUN for the coaching staff, and the fact her sister attending CSUN and had a good experience…says greatest sports moment so far is making up at least a 50m gap during the 4x400 and out dipping the other girl at the line…says the best thing about being an athlete is the people that it brings into your life as well as the experiences…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is the mental training…says the toughest athlete she has competed against is Shaylynn Wynn…the most famous person she has met is Meryl Streep…the person in history she would like to meet is Jackie Joyner-Kersee…says the best advice she has been given is discipline will get you more places than motivation…her advice to young people is don’t be afraid to fail, it is the best way to learn.
