PERSONAL
Daughter of Raymond Urgino and Kristina Gonzalez Urgino … favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Allyson Felix, Mark Hamill, Zendaya, Owl House, Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith, Sinigang, Imagine Dragons, Conan Gray, and YouTube.com … chose CSUN because of the engineering program with robotics which is her main interest and can continue running track ... says her greatest sports moment so far is having the opportunity as a freshman in high school to help a senior to make the CIF-SS meet and being able to help her end on a high note … says the best thing about being a student-athlete is meeting new people and the atmosphere around the sport, she likes the adrenaline rush she gets from going to meets and feeling the pressure of the race right before you start a race ... says the toughest thing about being a student-athlete is pushing your body through its limits daily, she loves sports and how it gets her into a rhythmic schedule, but pushing your body constantly always brings a new challenge every day, making it the most challenging but also the most exciting … says the toughest athlete she has competed against is Natalie Tolento … the most famous people she has met are Carl Lewis and Sydney McLaughlin … the person in history she would like to meet is Lydia De Vega … would like to switch places for one day is Noah Lyle … the best advice she has been given is take each meet one day at a time, everything will fall into place ... her advice to young people is take your time, don’t waste your time trying to grow up, growing up, is overrated, if you like something, put your all into it, because if you enjoy what you’re doing, you’ll surely succeed … her greatest heroes are her family, she knows that they all worked hard to get her to where she is now.
