CSUN - 2025 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: Hutchinson competed in eight meets ... scored and placed third in the shot put with a season-best throw of 14.78m (48-6) at the Big West Championships (5/17/25) ... took first place in the shot put with a toss of 14.11m (46-3.5) at the UCSB Invite (4/25/25) ... recorded a season-best hammer throw mark of 48.17m (158-0) at the Bryan Clay Inviational (4/17/25) ... earned Big West All-Academic Team honors.Â

CSUN - 2024 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Hutchinson competed in nine outdoor meets ... became the first Matador since 2019 to win the Big West shot put title as she registered a PR mark of 14.83m (48-8) at the Big West Championships (5/11/24) ... finished 12th in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.79m (156-9) at the Big West Championships ... set a new PR in the hammer with a toss of 49.16m (161-3) to take sixth at the Steve Scott Invitational (4/26/24) ... finished second in the shot put over back-to-back meets, with marks of 14.78m (48-6) at the Vince O'Boyle Classic (3/29/24) and 14.72m (48-3.5) at the Trojan Invite (3/23/24) ... also set a PR in the javelin and finished second overall with a toss of 35.84m (117-7) at the UCLA Legends Invitational (4/13/24) ... named to the Big West All-Academic Team.
INDOOR: Competed in three meets ... set a PR in the weight throw with a toss of 14.65m (48-0.75) at the UW Invite (1/26/24) ... took 13th place in the shot put with a season-best mark of 12.77m (41-10.75) at the MPSF Championships (2/26/24) ... placed 19th in the weight throw with a toss of 13.78m (45-2.5) at the MPSF Championships ... placed on the MPSF All-Academic Team.
CSUN - 2023 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Competed in four throwing events (shot, discus, hammer, javelin) at the Big West Championships ... established season bests in the discus (139-5, 12th), Hammer (141-11, 23rd), and javelin (113-7, 13th) at the Big West meet ... the hammer throw at the Big West is the ninth best by a CSUN freshman in school history ... posted a season best in the shot when she finished a season best second in the shot (44-9 1/2) at the season opening UCSB Invitational ... was third in the shot (43- 1/2) and fourth in the discus (126-8) at the UC Riverside Chris Rinne Twilight ... finished fourth in the shot (44-6 1/4) at the West Coast Relays ... placed fifth in the shot (43-11 1/4) at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Collegiate.
INDOOR: Recorded season bests in the shot (43-9 3/4) and in the weight throw (47-10 1/2), at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic ... finished 12th in the shot at the MPSF Championships in the shot (42-2 1/4) ... tallied season best finishes in the shot (10th) and weight throw (14th) at the Spokane Indoor Challenge.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2022 graduate of Mead High School … finished second in the discus and fourth in the 2022 Washington Class 4A State Track Championship … won the discus and finished second in the shot put at the 2022 3A/4A District 8 Championship … won the shot and the discus while finishing ninth at the 2022 3A/4A District Qualifying Championship…finished second in the shot and discus while placing ninth at the 2021 GSL 3A/4A Culminating Championship … was fourth in the shot and 10th in the discus at the 2019 WIAA 2A, 3A, 4A State Championship … won the discus and came in second in the shot put at the 2019 District 8 3A/4A Track and Field Championship … prep bests were 126-6 in the discus, 110-8 in the javelin, and 42-7 in the shot put ... team won the 3A state championship in 2022 and the 4A state championship in 2019 … lettered in volleyball and earned All-League honors on three occasions … volleyball team won state championships in 2019 (4A) and in 2021 (3A) … named 2022 Mead Female Athlete of the Year … a member of the National Honor Society.

Daughter of Robert Hutchinson and the late Julie Hutchinson … stepmother is Kirsten Hutchinson … favorites include Matthew Gray Gubler, Helena Bingham Carter, Criminal Minds, Corpse Bride, Pickles, and Frank Ocean … chose CSUN because she really liked the culture and the people that she met, it was the school that she dreamed of without realizing it … says greatest sports moment so far is winning the state volleyball title as a senior in high school … says the best thing about being a student-athlete is getting to meet so many unique and interesting people that you normally wouldn’t interact with, also getting that feeling of individual success when you actually accomplish what you have been working at for so long … says the toughest thing about being a student athlete is time management and mental health, as you are consistently struggling … the most famous person she has met is John Stockton … the two people she would like to have dinner with are  Matthew Gray Gubler, Paget Brewster … the best advice she has been given is we’re all living this life for the very first time, don’t let mistakes define a person … her advice to young people is It is what it is, some things are out of your control so just keep moving forward … her greatest heroes are her family members who have all consistently helped me whenever I’ve needed it and they are the reason I am able to do what I want and be where I am today, even when they themselves are struggling they still look out for others first.
