Gilmore lettered in volleyball at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah ... capped her high school career by leading her team to a 4A State Championship, earning Deseret News 4A Player of the Year as a senior in 2025 ... under head coach Craig Allred, the Thors finished with an overall record of 24-8 ... also earned Co-MVP honors for Region 9 ... finished her senior season with 407 kills ... also played beach volleyball for the Thors ... began her prep career at San Juan Hills High School ... graduated in 2026.
PERSONAL
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. ... parents are Meagan and Nathan Gilmore ... stepfather is Mark Sersansie ... has three brothers, Jacob, Graham, and Henry and one sister, Elsa who plays volleyball at Vanguard University ... also played at the club level for A4 Volleyball Club in Orange County ... favorites include Utah football, the music of The Lumineers and Zack Bryan, the TV show "Outer Banks" and the movie "Interstellar" ... says she chose CSUN because of "Coach Montoya, it's in Southern California and it felt like the right fit to continue my volleyball career" ... says the best thing about being a student-athlete is "it's taught me responsibility, work ethic and has helped make friends" ... says the toughest is "juggling academics, social life and athletics" ... plans on majoring in business.
