Cindy Ortiz appeared in all 29 matches and 102 of 104 sets as the Matador libero ... recorded a team-high and career-high 452 digs,the third-best total in CSUN's rally scoring era for a single season ... heads into her final season ranked ninth in Matador rally scoring history with 900 career digs ... her 2011 digs average (4.43) ranked third in the Big West ... finished third on the squad with 24 aces which gives her 50 in her Matador career ...was also third in assists with 64 ... posted a CSUN season-high 31digs at Pacific (Oct. 7) and had at least 10 digs in 25 of Northridge's 29 matches ... also notched 26 digs in the Matadors'3-2 win over Eastern Washington (Sept 9) ... had a season-high three aces against both UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 18) and Air Force(Nov. 25).
2010
Ortiz appeared in 31 of the Matadors' 32 matches, missing only one due to illness ... started 24 matches at libero and finished the season as the team leader with 444 digs ... averaged a team-high3.67 digs per set which ranked eighth in the Big West Conference... her season digs total (444) ranks sixth in Cal State Northridge single-season history ... had a CSUN season-high and career-best 36digs in the season-finale against Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 20) ...her total is the third-best total in Matador history for a four-set match ... recorded double figures in digs in 22 of the final 25matches of the season ... wound up with 24 service aces which was second-best on the squad ... was also third on the team with 67assists ... served a career-high five aces against Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 20) and had three aces in the Matadors' 3-1 win over UC Riverside (Oct. 9) ... finished the season with a .948reception percentage in 654 attempts ... was named Outstanding Libero at the UNLV Classic (Sept. 17-18) after digging 39 attacks over three matches.

Appeared in 17 matches in her first season at Northridge ... was primarily a serving specialist for the Matadors ... had two aces(0.12 saps) for the season ... also contributed four digs (0.24dps) and one kill ... served one ace against UC Irvine (Oct. 6) and added another against Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 14) ... notched her first collegiate kill to go with one dig in Northridge's 3-1 win over UC Riverside (Oct. 10) ... posted a career-high three digs in the season-finale at UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 21).
