Hailey Brockway appeared in 23 matches and 85 sets in her first season at CSUN after transferring from Illinois State ... ranked third on the team with 306 kills while averaging a team-high 3.60 kills per set which ranked fourth among Big West hitters ... finished behind only Amaris Smith (383) and Leah Miller (311) in kills ... after starting 20 of CSUN's first 21 matches of the season, was limited to two starts over the final eight matches of the season due to injury ... ranked second on the team with 861 attacks while hitting .161 on the season ... also ranked fourth on the team with 198 digs (2.33 dps) and 17 aces (0.20 saps) ... reached double figures in kills 17 times in 23 matches ... put down a season-high 22 kills against Seattle in Pocatello, Idaho (Aug. 30) ... added 15 digs against the Redhawks for her first CSUN double-double ... finished the season with nine double-doubles which ranked second on the team ... took a season-high 59 swings against both UC Irvine (Oct. 4) and UC Davis (Oct. 19) ... hit a season-high .306 with 16 kills on 36 swings at Cal Poly (Nov. 9) ... served a season-high three aces against UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 28).
ILLINOIS STATE - 2023
Brockway played her freshman season at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. ... appeared in four matches and eight sets for the Redbirds in her first collegiate season ... made her collegiate debut versus Central Arkansas (Aug. 26) ... posted season-highs of five kills and three digs against Colgate (Aug. 26).
GRAHAM-KAPOWSIN HIGH SCHOOL
Brockway was a four-year starter and team captain at Graham-Kapowsin High School in Graham, Wash. ... earned South Puget Sound League MVP honors as an outside hitter each season from 2019-2022 ... was named MaxPreps Top HS Player in Washington in 2019, 2021, and 2022 ... finished her high school career with 1,895 career kills and 802 career digs ... graduated in 2023.
