Senior Tessa Boagni earned Big West Tournament MVP honors as she helped guide the Matadors to the team's third tournament title over the last five years. Boagni led the team with 19.3 points per game on 53.7 percent shooting to go with 8.5 rebounds. She also poured in 23 points in the championship victory over UC Davis. The Matadors earned the Big West's automatic bid into the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
