Senior midfielder Juan Fernando Samayoa scored a pair of penalty kick goals for the Matadors in action last week as they concluded non-conference play. Samayoa posted a goal in a 1-1 draw with San Diego and then provided the game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory at CSU Bakersfield. He is second on the team with two goals and six points.
