
CSUN Struggles on Final Day of Bandon Dunes Championship, Finishes 17th

BANDON, Ore. - After posting team scores of 303 and 301 over the first two rounds, Cal State Northridge struggled to a final round 319 to drop into a 17th-place finish at the Bandon Dunes Championship.
Ryan Green was CSUN's most consistent scorer and top finisher as he tied for 27th at five-over par 221. Green, who was the only Matador player in the top-50, followed up rounds of 74-73 Friday and Saturday with another two-over 74 on Sunday.
Oscar Sachs placed 73rd at (+15) 231 after carding a final round (+10) 82. Sachs opened the day in 33rd place after scores of 74-75 over two rounds but his final round 82 dropped him to 73rd.
Kyler Sauer finished tied for 84th at (+19) 235 following rounds of 78-76-81, Steven Molumby tied for 91st at (+24) 240 after posting scores of 81-77-82 and Matt Siporin was 93rd at (+28) 244 following rounds of 77-83-84.
Colorado (862) took the team championship while Fresno State's Troix Tronheim took individual medalist honors with a score of six-under 210.
