COACH JEFF STORKÂ SAID
"It's disappointing that we couldn't send our five great seniors out with a win but it doesn't take anything away from who they are as people and what they are as student-athletes. It's an emotional night and we had a lot of alumni and community come out to send these players off. Tonight had a lot to do with who was going to point-score enough. We kept our errors down but we couldn't produce enough points."Â
SET 1
The Matadors never held a lead in the opening set as UH never trailed in the first set as the visitors used a 5-0 run to open up an 18-13 lead. Hawai'i maintained a five-point cushion at 23-18 before CSUN rallied behind a 5-2 run to trim the lead but the Rainbow Wahine held on for the 25-23 win.
