Morgan Salone appeared in all 28 matches, playing in 101 of CSUN's 108 sets as a senior ... started all 28 matches for the Matadors at middle blocker ... finished the season with 157 kills while averaging 1.55 kills per set which ranked fourth on the team ... hit .257 on 397 total attacks ... was the team leader with 84 total blocks which included a team-leading 15 solo blocks which ranks seventh in CSUN's rally scoring history ... ranks fourth in program history with 51 career solo blocks and is 10th in total blocks with 238 ... put down a season-high 11 kills on .556 hitting in CSUN's 3-0 victory over UC Riverside (Nov. 2) ... had 10 kills on three other occasions ...finished her career with 608 career kills ... also had a season-high seven blocks against the Highlanders in Riverside (Oct. 10) ... matched her career-high with two assists against UC Davis (Nov. 1).
CSUN - 2018 (Junior)
Salone appeared in all 28 matches and 108 sets for the Matadors during her junior season ... started a career-high 22 matches ... finished fourth on the team with 179 kills while averaging 1.66 kills per set ... took a total of 430 swings, hitting a career-high .302 which led the team ... also led the Matadors with 88 blocks which included a team-leading 20 solo blocks which is third for a single season in CSUN's Rally Scoring era ... hit a CSUN season-high .478 (12-1-23) against Utah State (Aug. 25) and tied for the team season-high with seven blocks in the Matadors five-set win over UC Davis (Oct. 5) ... put down a season-high 13 kills on .357 hitting in CSUN's 3-1 win over UC Riverside (Oct. 30) ... had seven kills and a season-high seven blocks against UC Davis (Oct. 5) ... reached double figures in kills six times ... matched her career high by scooping up four digs at Northern Arizona (Sept. 8).
CSUN - 2017 (Sophomore)
Salone appeared in all 28 matches, playing in a total of 92 sets as a sophomore ... earned six starts ... finished third on the Matadors with 180 kills, averaging 1.96 kills per set ... took a total of 551 attacks, second-most of the team ... also added 30 digs and 20 blocks, including nine solo stuffs ... pounded a career-high 17 kills on a season-high 35 swings in CSUN's 3-1 win over Long Beach State (Sept. 23) ... also took 35 swings against UC Irvine (Oct. 27) ... posted double figures in kills seven times ... hit a season-high .417 in a 3-0 sweep over Weber State (Aug. 31), one of four matches in which she hit over .300 ... matched her career-high with four digs against both Fresno State (Sept. 9) and UC Irvine (Oct. 7) and put up a season-high four blocks against the Bulldogs.
CSUN - 2016 (Freshman)
Salone appeared in 23 matches and 71 sets in her first season at CSUN ... earned her first start at middle blocker against UNLV (Sept. 17) and then started 15 of the final 16 matches of the season ... finished the season with 94 kills while averaging 1.32 kills per set ... hit .244 on a total of 234 attacks ... ranked second on the team with 46 blocks (0.65 bps) ... also added six digs and one assist ... put down a season-high 10 kills on a season-high 20 swings in CSUN's 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton in the season finale (Nov. 19) ... had six kills on eight errorless swings to hit a season-high .750 in a straight-set win over UC Riverside (Nov. 1) ... recorded a season-high eight blocks against Cal Poly (Oct. 1) ... had seven kills and five blocks in the Matadors' 3-1 victory at Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 8).
ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL
Salone played four seasons of volleyball at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, Calif. ... played middle, outside and right side hitter for coach Patti Zarate ... ranked second in the league in blocking ... recorded 287 kills and 130 blocks (84 solo) for the Mustangs ... graduated in 2016 with a 3.0 grade point average, earning honor roll honors.

Born in West Covina, Calif. ... parents are Sylvia and Brian Salone ... has three brothers, Kenton, Chris and Elijah ... her father played basketball at Fresno State ... was also recruited by Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Loyola Marymount and UC Riverside ... favorites include the USA Women's Volleyball Team and the TV show "The Office" ... says she chose CSUN because "when I visited I felt like it's where I belong" ... says her greatest sports moment was "winning Junior Nationals in the Open Division" ... majoring in Kinesiology.
